Automatic labelling machines

Etipack core business is industrial automatic labelling machines for the application of self-adhesive labels from 100 to 300 mm in width and application speed from 30 to 80 m/min. The Eway generation, which includes 3 models Energy,, Strong and Extreme, is conceived to redesign the world of labelling, proposing a philosophy of machines that meet the needs and objectives of companies, innovating a solid tradition in labelling.

Energy, conceived from an innovative research and development project in collaboration with the University of Udine, with speeds of up to 60 meters/minute, is the top of the range. Equipped with a retrofitted stepper motor and multi-tasking electronics, it allows to obtain high application frequencies and to simultaneously manage several functions. All the labelling machines offer a wide range of accessories that can be integrated to obtain customized settings according to specific needs.

Automatic friction feeders

Etipack friction feeders offer a wide range of in-line applications for the distribution of flat products with variable thickness from a few millimeters to over 1 cm. Outstanding in the line, divided into two large product groups according to performance, is the Whizzy range consisting of high performance and speed models.

• Whizzy Step Motor, with Retrofitted Stepper Motor and integrated electronics that allows an agile insertion in production and packaging lines;
• Whizzy Cut & feed Orbital, for in-line and high speeds towing, cutting and distribution of heat-sealed sachets, designed for productions above 120 pcs/min and up to 300 pcs/min;
• Whizzy Multistacker equipped with a multiple and rotating loading system that ensures reduced overall dimensions and high autonomy on packaging lines requiring non-stop feeding.

Pick & place

Etipack pick & place machines allow high flexibility in handling, feeding and distribution of various types of containers within the packaging line.

Clippy Denester. It is a de-stacker, which is a pick-and-place manipulator for de-stacking thermoformed plastic trays and lids. Wth the help of suction cups, picks up stacked products from a loading magazine and distributes them horizontally on the packaging line. The de-stacker has a double loading magazine to distribute 2 trays side by side and thus increase, the production speed.

Upon request, the number of magazines can be increased for higher productivity. The programming keypad allows speed and control functions to be set: automatic speed adjustment, distribution of multiple trays with a single start, control of product failure with automatic stop of distribution.

Automatic labelling systems

Etipack automatic labelling systems are designed as small, self-sufficient labelling lines handling and labelling the product. They can be used both off-line and connected to other packaging machines to carry out different types of product labelling: wrapping, front, side, top, bottom and tamper evident.

System 1. The System 1 series includes a range of automatic systems for wrap-around labeling of cylindrical-format products. They are ideal for jars, cans, bottles, plastic, glass or metal jars containing food, chemicals or cosmetics. The modular design allows labelers of different widths and speeds to be installed on a main machine body, as well as a wide range of accessories allowing to obtain: semi-wrap-around labelling, fully-wrap-around labelling, on tronco-conical products, and with a warranty seal. In the latter case, the label is shaped to incorporate the seal, and is, thus, easily and effectively applied in a single solution.

The series includes different models-depending on production requirements, and alarm and control equipment-with production speeds from 50 up to 200 pcs/min, and the option of installing various types of printing units for printing codes, variable data or images.

Pharmaceutical labelling systems

Etipack Pharma line offers a complete range of solutions for labelling, coding, serialization and track and trace, designed for the pharmaceutical sector and widely used in traceability and labelling projects in compliance with regulations issued in different countries. The line has systems designed and built to ensure the high standards of quality and performance required by pharmaceutical companies and a team skilled in process management(regulatory knowledge, URS analysis, FAT, validation).

Pharma Flexi. It is an innovative ultra-high-speed pharmaceutical labelling system for the whole cylindrical format products, including unstable ones. Pharma Flexi can reach speeds of as high as 400 pcs/min depending on the customer’s format and line conditions, and is designed to facilitate format changes, thus, enabling the processing of vials, bottles, carpules and syringes.(ma può lavorare anche stand-alone).Another key strength of the system is the ability to operate either off-line or integrated into the production line. The innovative control panel is designed to offer maximum maneuverability. Equipped with advanced electronics with Siemens S7 for peripheral diagnosis according to industry requirements, it is designed following GMP guidelines, and also allowing to manage FailSafe functions, production batch and CFR21/Event/Alarm reporting and production data collection. It is distinguished by high control of labeling and waste management and can integrate several printing groups.

Print & apply

The range of Print Apply Etipack systems is designed to allow for real-time printing and different types of label application on boxes, packages and products, whether stationary or in movement.

Stick Evo. The first model of the new Print Apply Etipack range, it’s ideal for the real-time printing of barcodes, images and variable data and contactless application. More versatile, ergonomic and lighter than the previous models, the system stands out for its improved performance levels and flexibility in handling different production requirements, as demonstrated in the plate housing redesigned to easily integrate the printing module, whether the 4” or 6” version, for labels up to 180x210 mm.

The powerful thermal transfer printer with biprocessor electronics is also new, guaranteeing high-level performances. It reaches a print speed of up to 400 mm/s at high-quality (300 dpi) and has considerable production autonomy thanks to the use of two reels of thermal transfer ribbon of a length of up to 600 metres that can satisfy all needs. Maximum application precision and efficiency also, thanks to the applicator pad with pneumatic cylinder with reduced air consumption that blows the label onto the box or the moving products. The system is also available in a contact version on the same model.
